Following a very interesting talk at our April meeting, we were all delighted to present a cheque for £500:00 to Judith Spurling, the President of the International Childrens Ostomy Education Foundation. This organisation provides puppets for young children who have to cope with Bladder and Bowel related problems, the puppets are given to individual children who will have a bag or catheter, the same as theirs, and is then used to train the child how to cope, and at the same time allows the child to express their own feelings to! Presenting the cheque is our President Lion Eileen Smith supported by Lions Dorreen and Barry, and a number of the puppets!
