The Club Members have decided to hold our Fish n Chip Social on an afternoon rather than an evening. Hopefully this will suit many of our regulars who found that having fish n chips followed by fruit pie at 8.30 in the evening was a bit too late.
so here are the details of our next Fish n Chip social – Wednesday 2nd October at Hedon Royal British Legion. Doors open at 11.30;am, lunch will be at approximately 12.30.
With a bit of arm twisting we have Martyn to entertain us after lunch.
tickets are £7.59 and are available now, just ask one of the Holderness Lions and you will be pointed in the right direction.
We do hope this new arrangement will be agreeable to many of our regulars and perhaps attractive some new comers.
we look forward to seeing you on the day.
Despite a gloomy weather forecast those Lions and guests who attended the annual sports day for the disabled held on Sandall Park, Doncaster had a great time.
we had the pleasure of having 4 of the students from the International Youth camp helping us and they were a great asset.
just a pity that some clubs and guests were put off by the thought of inclement weather.
Busy day, Saturday 3rd August, as well as being at Asda, Bilton some Holderness Lions will be manning a stall at The Car Boot Sale in Paull.

we have gathered a number of items which could come in useful for your Summer Holiday.

just a reminder the money we raise at these events is used for the benefit of our local community, first and foremost.
